The Queer Parade

THE QUEER PARADE

My oh my

What a day

I saw so many things

At the Queer Parade

First there were dykes with tykes

Then there were dykes on bikes

Then there were dykes with tykes on bikes

Then dykes on bikes with tykes on bikes

Some so small they rode their trikes

My oh my

What a day

So much to see

At the Queer Parade

Then there came the dykes who hike

Some of course who hike in Nikes

Most of whom would like to hike in their Nikes with dykes named Mike

but dykes named Mike prefer to ride on the backs of bikes

belonging to one of those dykes on bikes

or dykes with tykes

or dykes on bikes with tykes on bikes

Some so small they ride their trikes

My oh my

What a day

And I saw it here

At the Queer Parade

Then the dykes wearing spikes

Of significant height

Came marching besides leather dykes

Ready to strike

Don’t bend over they just might

Marching behind

Dykes who hike

Some of course who hike in Nikes

Most of whom would like to hike in their Nikes with dykes named Mike

Who prefer to ride on the backs of bikes belonging to dykes on bikes or dykes with tykes

or dykes on bikes with tykes on bikes

Some so small they ride their trikes

My oh my

So many sights

What a day

And I saw it all

At the Queer Parade

Yipes

What a sight

Topless militant dykes

With their breasts held high and tight

Ready to fight

To take back the night

Behind the dykes wearing spikes

Of significant height

marching beside leather dykes

Ready to strike

Don’t bend over they just might

Marching behind

Dykes who hike in their Nikes

Most of whom would like to hike in their Nikes with dykes named Mike

Who prefer to ride on the backs of bikes belonging to dykes on bikes or dykes with tykes

or dykes on bikes with tykes on bikes

Some so small they ride their trikes

My oh my

What a day

And to think, just think

I saw it all

At the Queer Parade

Dykes to my left

Dykes to my right

Scooping, hoping they just might

Get alittle somethin’ to night

If they play their cards just right

Perhaps with one of those militant dykes

With their bare breasts held high and tight

Ready to fight

To take back the night

Behind the dykes wearing spikes

Of significant height

Marching beside leather dykes

Ready to strike

Don’t bend over, they just might

Marching behind

Dykes who hike in their Nikes

Most of whom would like to hike in their Nikes with dykes named Mike

Who prefer to ride on the backs of bikes belonging to dykes on bikes or dykes with tykes

or dykes on bikes with tykes on bikes

Some so small they ride their trikes

My oh my

What a day

Never miss the Queer Parade

My oh my

This isn’t right

It’s teletubbies and a Jerry Falwell look-a-like

In the midst of all those dykes

Scooping left and hoping right

Hoping hoping they just might

Get alittle somethin’ to night

If they play their cards just right

Perhaps with one of those militant dykes

With their bare breasts held high and tight

Ready to fight

To take back the night

Behind the dykes wearing spikes

Of significant height

marching beside leather dykes

Ready to strike

Don’t bend over, they just might

Marching behind

Dykes who hike in their Nikes

Most of whom would like to hike in their Nikes with dykes named Mike

Who prefer to ride on the backs of bikes belonging to dykes on bikes or dykes with tykes

or dykes on bikes with tykes on bikes

Some so small they ride their trikes

My oh my

What a day

And I saw it all

At the Queer Parade

It’s over now

But never fear

It’ll all be back next year

Right here

At the Queer

Parade
